Why Am I Selling Electronic Cigarettes?

The answer is quite simple … I believe in them. I am an Internet Marketer, but rarely sell products as an affiliate. I sell my own products, mostly ebooks. The reason I don’t sell as an affiliate is because most of the products out there in the ad networks are scams and ripoffs and I just don’t want to be associated with them.

Don’t even get me started on the forced continuity ads that offer free samples and then charge your credit card into oblivion and are impossible to cancel without canceling your credit card. I’ve been a victim of one of those scams before with a “Free Trial” offer from IQ Derma that ended up costing me $300 before I had to cancel my credit card to get rid of them … and it’s not fun.

My nicotine addiction story on this blog is true. I have been a smoker since I was 13 years old. My mother was, also, and died of lung cancer a couple of years ago. I was there when she took her last breath, and it still haunts me.

I am using electronic cigarettes, and am so happy to have finally find a smoking alternative that actually works for me, that I decided to create this site to provide everyone with all the information they need to make their own decision about electronic cigarettes (provided that you are at least 18 years of age).

Of course, you can pick one up at many malls for an outrageous price. There is also the “free trial” offers on the internet that I mentioned that really aren’t free at all. One girl in a forum reports returning the product within the 14 day period and still being charged on her credit card for the full $99 price. She still has not been refunded.

You could also find a manufacturer in China and order them but unless you are ordering larger quantities, the shipping cost is very high. There are numerous companies on the Net with websites selling electronic cigarettes for $120 to over $200. That’s a heck of a markup for a product that they get for much cheaper from China and, in my opinion, a real ripoff.

So that’s it. I decided to endorse the electronic cigarette companies that I feel offer the best products, and hopefully make enough money in the process for the upkeep of this blog. Ecigs are a product I use personally, and recommend to my family and friends, so I feel very comfortable offering them for sale to adults who are smokers and would like to try a healthier smoking alternative.

In an interview with E Cigarette Direct, Tobacco Harm Reduction Expert David Sweanor said:

“Seldom is there an offer to become a billionaire while saving millions of lives. I think there will be takers.”

While I seriously doubt I will be a billionaire overnight, it is a good chance to make a profit in these recession struck times by selling a product which really does people some good.
